ANIMATE (an'ə·māt):

This bus shelter attempts to remove the monotony of waiting for the bus, it creates a space where waiting can be revitalizing. The colours provoke stimulation and excitement. The shelter is broken up into cubular modules, making it practical as a prototype and flexible in size. The bus shelter also functions as a piece of art, relating it to its trendy site in Yorkville, but could also be applicable to other sites. It revisits the traditional typology of a bus shelter as merely a shelter; now more a place to wait, relax, and to be energized.
